Job Summary:
The Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for execution of duties associated with the effective governance of contract and performance compliance monitoring and analytics. This role will interact with key stakeholders across the internal organization including client service, operations, finance and compliance as well as counterparts within the client’s organization in similar roles.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIE:
- Support the governance and continual optimization of client-level business-facing metrics and standard reporting, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate performance for adherence to key contract terms and overall contract compliance.
- Achieve status of trusted advisor with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage advanced analytics and problem solving to design and work with large data sets, including statistical analyses, data visualization, advanced data mining, and data cleansing/transformation.
- Develop and implement streamlined, scalable SLA monitoring and administration processes and tools in collaboration with Operations, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Client Service.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Strong skills required for data accuracy and completeness. Individual demonstrates a strong proficiency for understanding contract terms and working with legal professionals to complete contract and amendment documents.
- Acquire and continually advance deep knowledge of operational processes for which SLA monitoring is performed to ensure modeled data is accurate and/or useful.
- Develop, own, and implement Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance reporting, governance, and relationship with select clients.
- Evaluates current SOW contracts for potential performance risk and negotiates contract terms to mitigate risks
- Uncover and evangelize key insights into SLA performance. Support identification of opportunities to improve outcomes in partnership with operations and quality assurance business partners.
- Partner with and support cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders including operations, quality assurance, client service, legal, compliance, and finance.
- Recommend strategies and process improvements for the continual optimization of SLA performance and reporting.
- Establish and maintain strategic client partnerships and alliances that promote greater efficiency and value generation in the metric / invoice reconciliation processes and facilitate constructive communication and dispute resolution.
- Monitor service level metrics and key performance indicators within the context of Master Service Agreements (MSA) and related contractual and relationship commitments.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including prior work with databases, data mining, financial modeling, data management, analysis, BI tools, and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix environment and influence others without authority to drive objectives across departments.
- Demonstrated track-record of and passion for leveraging analytics, problem solving, and data-driven insights to support the improvement of operations quality and performance levels.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain credibility for your business function.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, including experience with conflict resolution.
- Ability to develop working knowledge of client business processes and understand key drivers of performance and operations success: Speak the language of the business.
- Knowledge of and prior experience in the domains of contract management, procurement, and/or performance reporting preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience highly preferred.
- Ability to independently plan and execute project timelines for assigned projects, with minimal oversight.
- Must have a minimum 7-10 years of related experience.
- Must be knowledgeable regarding patient health information and HIPAA compliance.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), data analytics tools and document/calendar management.
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required. MBA strongly preferred

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
