Job Summary And Qualifications

TriCities ER is looking for a committed and caring RN to join our amazing team as an RN Clinical Coordinator! We offer convenient care for the for the communities of Prince George, Fort Lee, Colonial Heights and Petersburg and have the capability to treat a range of emergencies from less complex cases like stitches and broken bones, to more life threatening emergencies like chest pain and potential stroke. • Some key responsibilities include help manage expenses to stay within budgetary guidelines, works with Director to monitor productivity and explain variances and assists Director in maintaining payroll records and transmits payroll to meet deadlines when needed.
• In this role your responsibilities include conducting thorough and complete orientation of all incoming employees in a timely manner and maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.
• You will Demonstrates clinical competence and serves as resource and mentor for staff and assume responsibility for decisions and actions in the lead clinical role.
• As a member of the ER team, you will coordinate communication related to all assessment and admission activities, insures rapid throughput for the emergency department, and works with medical staff to move patients to disposition in a timely manner.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Department setting with demonstrated proficiency in leadership and management skills required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing required. BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN Program preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
