Are you an Epic Ambulatory Analyst looking for the opportunity to work remotely in a full-time role?


One of the largest Healthcare providers on the East Coast is looking for an Epic Ambulatory Analyst responsible for performing workflow analysis and design sessions with Epic Ambulatory Subject Matter Experts as well as analyze workflows and build documentation to support smart tools, flowsheets and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly.
  • Builds effective relationships with clinical and business partners through all the phases of the projects to support completing project's goals.
  • May support multi-specialty services lines and Epic Applications
  • Understands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent their user’s needs.
  • Follow internal build, change control and issue management policies and procedures. Analysts performs workflow analysis, and design sessions with Subject Matter Experts.
  • This Analyst is also responsible for precise documentation of operational specifications and application functionality. Analysts will also troubleshoot problems and respond to questions from end-users during training, go-live and post go-live periods. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position. Successful candidates enjoy helping others learn and adopt usage of the application.
  • Planning, development, training, implementation, and evaluation of application functionality.
  • Collaborates and consults with application director, project manager, Informatics and other team leaders to coordinate activities.
  • This EPIC Ambulatory Analyst will play a critical and high visibility role in facilitating the design, development, system configuration, implementation, and support of information systems. Your primary responsibility is to analyze workflows and build documentation to support the office workflows including smart tools, flowsheets and reports.
  • Working with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development, training, and implementation of application functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems and customer issues.
  • Contributes in the preparation and execution of testing scripts and materials and performs unit, system, and integrated testing tasks.


Requirements:

  • Experience in clinical information system management in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
  • Epic Ambulatory certification preferred.
  • Four years of experience in clinical applications experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a HealthCare environment required.
  • Must be willing to attend required Epic training at the Epic training center.
