Job Description
Clinic Radiology Tech
REPORTS TO: Clinic Manager/Director
DEPARTMENT: Bone & Joint
JOB SUMMARY:
Operate digital x-ray examinations as ordered by the provider and any other duties as assigned by the provider.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Operate digital x-ray examination as ordered by the provider
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned
  • Ensure each room is properly cleaned and stocked
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Ability to communicate well with people both in person and on phone
  • Must adhere to HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Radiology Tech certificate from accredited school
  • Organizational Skills
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work within the established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the hospital/clinic.
  • Effectively act as a liaison between patients and providers
  • Typing skills
  • Medical terminology
  • Computer experience
