Expected annual base salary range: $77,600 to $108,500
Please note that candidates must be in a commutable distance to our Indianapolis office.
JOB SUMMARY: The Client Delivery Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of client projects and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the agreed upon scope of work. The Client Delivery Project Manager will serve as the bridge between our clients, internal teams and partners in order to manage the operational execution of projects.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 3 to 5 years related experience in a clinical project management environment (CRO, pharmaceutical company, or other centralized service provider used in clinical studies) or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience to perform the job.
Certifications/License/Registration Requirements
  • PMP Certification desired.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to utilize technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and service.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project and the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations using these tools.
  • Ability to multi-process, delegate project tasks.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving/decision making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead through influencing and negotiating.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage, motivate, and handle a client.
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
  • Proven project management experience. Must have at least three (3) years of demonstrated experience managing all stages of project-life cycle, from developing complete project plans and executing the management and implementation of those plans on time and within budget.
  • Strong financial acumen required. Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and forecasting skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successful, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Management of project team members with regard to assigned tasks on those projects--team members are matrixed in for project assignments.
  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with clients.
  • Anticipate, investigate, and answer clients’ questions.
  • Support and help troubleshoot delivered work during project and post-project.
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
  • Present work to the client at milestones throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Create and manage project plans and timelines.
  • Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
  • Work with client for change orders as required for the lifecycle of the project.
  • Monitor and manage scope of project.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
  • Articulate design rationale and function strategy throughout the life of the project if new client or technical requirements necessitate new design or function strategy.
  • Lead as an operational interface between the client and Company for project/service solutions.
  • Demo the technology in proposed solutions to clients and others, where applicable.
  • Responsible for running moderate to complex programs and projects which include management of tasks for solution planning, analysis, configuration, and execution.
  • Define project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress.
  • Responsible for planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables.
  • Help facilitate implementing business and system process best practices.
  • Align project objectives with company goals, and ensure project team is clear on objectives.
  • Manage relationship with business and executive stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Obtain, discuss, and follow through with client feedback.
  • Lead process of issue identification and resolution.
