Due to continued growth, Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) is looking for the next great addition(s) to our team. The Classroom Support Specialist will provide support services to the Mental Health, Early Intervention and Health Components in the Resource Team as well as support the implementation of a developmentally appropriate early childhood education practices for children enrolled in EOCF programs. This position is budgeted for 40 hours per week / 1632 hours per year, $22.40 as of August 2023 Located in Vancouver, WA.

Required Education

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Years of experience working with children displaying challenging behaviors and/or special needs may be taken into consideration in place of or in conjunction with education.

Required Experience

• Classroom experience with children ages 3-5.

Preferred Experience

• Classroom experience with children displaying challenging behaviors and/or special needs.

• Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP)- curriculum for work with children and parents/guardians.
• Sponsorship of the Vancouver HotShots Youth Sports basketball program for grades 1-6
