Job Title: Classroom Support

Location: West Yorkshire

Daily Rate: £80 – £90 per day

Start Date: September 2023

GSL Education are actively looking for Classroom Supports with experience working with young people and young students with Special Educational Needs for our client schools in West Yorkshire.

The school aims to provide young people with skills to overcome learning barriers for the future so that they can thrive in society.

As a Successful Classroom Support, You Should

• Have experience working in a specialist School, provision, or environment.
• Have strong behaviour management skills and be confident towards managing challenging behaviour.
• Have a child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
• Have experience assisting teachers in the classroom with pupil’s academic, emotional, and social needs.
• Be an enthusiastic educator with a dedication to supporting vulnerable young people.
• Have experience supporting young people with autism, learning difficulties and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Have previous experience supporting the emotional and social needs of children or young people.
