Immediate opening for a SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in North Charleston SC

We will buy your truck! If you’re looking to switch from Owner Operator to Company Driver, we can help make the switch even easier!

• Hourly Pay: $22.10 Per Hour - OT after 40 - 40hrs/ week guaranteed pay
• Start Time: 7:00 am (8 - 10 hours per shift)
• Paid Training
• Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS

• Route: Local Home Daily
• Trailer Type: Dry Van 26'
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Deliver SOLO To: 100 Mile Radius of North Charleston SC
• Freight: Touch – HVAC Supplies
• Tractor Type: Straight Truck
• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Hand Truck and Lift Gate

• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• Pass a Ryder road test
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a DOT physical

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
