Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Seattle, WA

The weekly rate for this position ranges from $2000 to $2200, base on miles, stops, layovers, and other performance metrics.

• Hours Per Week: 50 + hours per week
• The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 per hour.
• Sign On Bonus: $3000 paid in 2 installments. $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Paid Training
• Per Diem Pay: $50 per night
• Retention Bonus: Pays You $2000 paid at Year Anniversary

• Trailer Type: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 28’, 48', 53’
• Endorsements: Hazmat - Required at Hire
• Route: Regional
• Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Deliver SOLO To: WA, OR, ID
• Tractor Type: Super Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters
• Freight: Combination of Touch and No Touch Freight

• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Pass a DOT physical
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Minimum 21 years of age
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Performs other duties as assigned
