Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Claims Assistant position located in Jacksonville, FL. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site for a duration of six months or longer.

Requirements:
- The ability to focus, pay attention to detail, and complete repetitive tasks
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and moving files from one folder to another
- Selected candidates will need Imaging experience as well as invoice review/and or billing review/payment entry
Essential Functions
- Input claim activity file notes electronically.
- View email workflows to assist in response to internal claims customer requests.
- Provides claims related clerical support to the Claims Check Processing Support Unit.
- Process return physical mail including undeliverable, voids, and recovery items and input into tracking logs.
- Access and perform tasks in claim systems.
- Prepare checks for mailing, using equipment to input checks and documents into envelopes.
- Assimilate imaged mail into claim files through imaging system and maneuver in imaging application to perform tasks.
- Models' ethical behavior and executes job responsibilities in accordance with core values and ethics policies.
- Handle a variety of other tasks as necessary using either Excel, Word, Outlook and/or internal applications.
Qualified candidates would have the following:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Customer Service experience, or Insurance Industry experience or training experience
- Microsoft Office - Intermediate
- Internet-based software
- Data Entry 12K plus
- Assist with other designated support tasks as needed.
- Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques, organize and prioritize workload
- Imaging Systems experience
Required Education
- High School diploma
- 2 years of Customer Service, Insurance, or Agency experience or equivalent
