Job Description
Summary

We are looking for Infant/Toddlers Teachers to encourage the healthy growth and development of the children in our center. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their self-help skills and exercise their imagination. Must be willing/able to work opening and/or closing shifts.

Duties
  • Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching materials.
  • Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child?s abilities.
  • Evaluate children?s performance to make sure they are on their appropriate developmental path.
  • Provide basic care and caregiving activities.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a childcare / daycare teacher.
  • Confident and comfortable communicating with parents and updating them on the progress of their children.
  • Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the center and licensing bodies.
  • Reliable transportation to/from work site.
  • Negative TB test results for the past 6 months
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods.
  • Certificate in first aid and CPR (will be required during employment).
  • Patience, flexibility, and genuine care for children?s developmental needs.
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
  • Collaborate with other colleagues.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
