Job Description

Monsignor Slade Catholic School is currently searching for teachers and assistants for our before and after school child care program. Hours throughout the school year are 7:00am to 8:00 am and 2:30pm to 5:00pm. Hours during the summer are flexible with the summer program running from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The right candidate will not only be qualified and experienced, but also be caring, compassionate, and have a true love for children. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a positive, welcoming interaction with students, families, and school staff.
  • Develop and maintain an engaging program that includes play time, supervised homework time, snack, crafts, and special events.
  • Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Enhance learning through creative use of materials
  • Encourage and assist in positive social interactions

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Meet all other requirements of MSDE, Office of Child Care.
