Job Description

Position Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor, Childcare Services, oversee and play with children in the care of the Kids Active Club and Discovery Zone.

Position Performance Area/Expectations:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Treat all children and their families with respect, care and warmth.
  • Follow organized daily activities as directed.
  • Supervise and interact with children ages six weeks to twelve years old.
  • Ensure a fun safe environment for children.
Position Requirements:
  • Hold and maintain CPR and AED certification.
  • May need to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends to ensure Healthplex goals are met.
  • Mandated Reporter certification in the first 30 days.
  • Requires knowledge of appropriate age level activities for children six weeks to twelve years old. Experience in childcare preferred.
