The TS COO is the key owner of driving business and operational excellence including business operations, transformation, governance (compliance, risk, audit). Leads projects on specific far-reaching and strategic initiatives. Advises executives in areas such as investment prioritization, governance and controls, strategic change, operational issue, budgeting and finance, workforce planning, and leading action to ensure compliance with regulatory/legislative requirements, and location strategies.


In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:


  • Drives continuous improvement through focus on service excellence, operational, regulatory, risk and control enhancements.
  • Provides management reporting, dashboards, business analytics, competitive and market analysis and guidance to support improved growth, efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversees first line risk, and governance, including KYC, and Third Party Governance (TMG)
  • Own/execute on data & client experience strategy, doing the analysis, partnering across the firm ensuring Treasury Service’s needs are met
  • Delivery on organization’s People Experience strategy ensuring diverse, innovative, and inclusive culture
  • Day-to-day organizational administration planning, organizational changes with HR (cost codes, MU Hierarchy, approval matrices)
  • Owns Business Strategy, driving sustainable business growth and improved margins.
  • Drives business transformation and cross-Treasury Services initiatives working with business heads, operations, technology, finance, etc.
  • Provides strategic oversight and guidance on the development of key performance indicators; serves as strategic advisor in goal setting activities for the business.
  • Manage the timely completion of all Risk Mandated Frameworks, includes representation on BNYM committees
  • Proactively identifies and oversees implementation of strategic process improvement and changes and removes roadblocks
  • Prepare and lead Monthly/ Quarterly Business Reviews with executive team and Board
  • Delivery on expense management, workforce planning, location strategy, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR and Business Heads; including Engineering and Operations workforce mgmt. and cap planning
  • Oversees and drives all enterprise transformation as related to Treasury Services business, e.g., Catalyst, Products and Platforms, Digitization, Location Strategy, etc.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive Management/Leadership experience
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Recognized as expert in industry
  • Possess established relationships within/across industry
