Cary Medical Center is a 65-bed acute care hospital in beautiful Caribou, Maine. Well, known for its patient-centered services, the hospital, and its staff have won numerous state and national awards for quality in customer service and clinical performance. Cary has an immediate opportunity for aChief Operating Officerto support the hospital in fulfilling its Vision and Mission statement. As a senior administrative team member, theChief Operating Officer (COO)works closely with the CEO, medical staff, organizational leaders, and the hospital's Board of Directors to execute the organization's strategic plan and initiatives. The COO is responsible for the oversite of the clinical areas of Rehabilitation, Radiology and Laboratory service departments, along with oversite of non-clinical areas of Maintenance, Nutritional Services, Environmental Services and Security. The COO will have an active role in establishing systems and organizational structure focused on achieving the hospital's overall vision and strategic direction. The leadership position will help to implement operational strategies, performance metrics, and execution of financial opportunities. The COO will promote teamwork and perform duties and responsibilities consistent with the hospital's mission and values. Come home to Cary!
