Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in startup and motion picture studio financing, and be responsible for financial strategy, fundraising, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and private investor and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
  • Build relationships and know-how of international financing and investors
  • Source private equity investors
  • Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
  • Manage relationships with private investors
  • Create project business plans
  • Manage relationships with banks
  • Create investor finance plans and pitch decks
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
  • Support the financial planning and analysis efforts


Qualifications

  • CPA or MBA preferred but not required
  • 7 - 10 years' of finance experience
  • Knowledge of other languages such as (Spanish, German, French, Japanese) a great asset
  • Strong finance-based analytical skills
  • Experience with motion picture independent film and studio level financing
