The company is a manufacturer of steel components and has been established for more than 12 years.

The business revenue is $230M and based in Mississippi. With a focus on manufacturing and distributing steel components mostly going into clean energy applications.

The private equity firm is a fast-growing private equity firm, founded in 2018. They are currently working with 11 portfolio companies.

The firm are hands-on with its portfolio companies and invest primarily in the middle market.

The company has a strong mid-management level team, that is in need of good leadership.

VISION

What does success look like in this role?

• Upgrade the manufacturing facilities for greater capacity and improved ESG standards
• Manage the relationship with the private equity firm
• Push the cash generation and reduce the debt in year 1
• In year 2 preparing the business for an exit
• In year 3 ensure a strong and built out senior management team
• Build out a high performing and high functioning leadership team within the portfolio company
• Support and deliver the budget for year 1
• Build a pipeline of acquisitions for the next buyer
• Drive the organic growth and increase EBITDA

THE ROLE

The day-to-day role for this position will include full management of the business and personnel.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

• Must be very strong at holding managers to account on operational performance, particularly out of the steel mill in Mississippi
• Track record of driving profitability
• Supply chain background (preferred)
• Experienced in building out and developing a strong management team
• Execution experience of upgrading the manufacturing plants
• Steel building products experience
• Revenue experience of $200M+
• Steel Mill or Infrastructure Steel components Manufacturing experience
• Exit experience (preferred)
• Focus on delivering key results
• Multiple site experience
• Strong construction experience
• Background in steel mfg, executive presence and relationships with Nucor and similar suppliers
• Experience as a CEO
• Experienced in increasing cash flow
• Ability to improve ESG
• Debt management experience
• Private equity-backed experience (preferred)
• Strong visionary leader, driving a high performing team

LOCATION

PACKAGE

• $350,000 to $400,000 per annum, with a 50% Bonus, 401k, Equity and Healthcare.
