Major Responsibilities Include
- Handling all foods, storage and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning and preparation.
- Assure that all food procedures are followed
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout shift in various food preparation & service areas in the kitchen
- Become familiar with new menu items
- Performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Follow all sanitation guidelines
- Availability to work minimum 3 days/week -- including Saturdays
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is a MUST
- Prefer a minimum of one year of previous food prepartion or restaurant kitchen experience
- Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
