Chick Grader


  • Accountable To: Chick Supervisor

  • Separates bad chicks from good chicks
  • Responsibilities:
  • Division: Kinston Production
  • Organizational Position: Chick Grader
  • Hoses floor and machines after production
  • Separates chicken from hulls


This line worker position works 4 days a week. The chicks are on a conveyer belt, the worker moves the chicken back and forth with hand and picks out the bad chicks and trash. After each flock, they dump the bad chicks and trash from the basket. Less than 10 Ibs.
