Job Description
Job Summary


As a key member of the marketing team, the Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the tactical execution for products in both direct sales and retail along with managing retail displays. This role will focus heavily on creating and managing a consistent and cohesive brand experience through web traffic, in-store merchandising, product packaging, and physical, written, verbal communications. Their duties include studying the company's products, locating key features that will attract customers and creating marketing campaigns for products. The role will report to the Senior Manager Creative Operations, to ensure all communication pieces are accurate while managing the production calendar, GTM calendar, monitoring the current marketing projects to ensure adherence to schedules, processing expenditures and supporting the creative requests from both the Portfolio and Retail teams.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Organize and maintain monthly department budget and assist in annual budgeting execution.
  • Oversee development and execution of new device campaign plans with channel partners while facilitating the effective timing, positioning, and deployment to maximize launch and key product/brand communications.
  • Develop, monitor, and communicate product GTM calendar for the organization.
  • Oversee and maintain product packaging that is consistent with brand messaging and conforms to all legal, functional, aesthetic consumer goods standards.
  • Manage elements of public relations, including the development of a PR plan and cadence with external PR Firms.
  • Manage and maintain DAM (Digital Asset Management), the resources found within it, and the communication to ensure proper utilization.
  • Oversee the product marketing experience for Consumer Cellular working with the portfolio and retail teams to organize tasks, workload, and emphasize best in class brand presentation.
  • Develop and oversee visual merchandising plans, updates, campaigns, and implementation that unites with overarching brand, marketing position.


Collateral Management


  • Oversee creative direction, provide content and needed materials to deliver channel projects.
  • Manage external vendors for print production, photography, trade shows, packaging and website programs.


Packaging


  • Develop instructions, inserts, and branding communications for products
  • Develop, maintain and engage with legal counsel
  • Ensure all packaging artwork is brand compliant and uniform
  • Lead and manage production of all new packaging projects for size, spec, function, compliance, delivery, and aesthetic


Online


  • Work closely with web team on all product launches to ensure all graphic design, photography requests, copywriting/brand guidelines are in compliance.


Budget Management


  • In conjunction with the Senior Manager Creative Operations, oversee the development, deployment, and adherence to brand guide, style guide, and clear brand voice/ethos.
  • Ensure all content, print media, packaging, visual merchandising, and channel communications are aligned and adhering to brand guide/brand voice.
  • Ensure all members of the organization and external facilitators (reps) are briefed on the latest standards and applying them correctly in the market and with their accounts.
  • Must have an eye for trend, detail, and ability to articulate a point of view and opinion on quality of work, brand alignment, and delivery.


SUPERVISORY


This role will not have supervisory responsibility over direct team members.


This role will engage with various marketing team members to maintain situational awareness of progress towards timely completion of tasks and alignment with the overall marketing mission. This may include graphic design, sales material prep, branding, and beyond. This role will be responsible for assuring team members have clearly defined deliverable and timelines and confirm execution plans are on track to meet go-to market excellence. Daily report concerns and deviations of meeting deadlines to Senior Manager Creative Operations.

  • Experience with print and digital asset organization – cataloging, archiving, etc
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and stay connected with various internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Strategic planning and budgeting experience.
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
  • An ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience
  • Ability to research and organize information into spreadsheets, presentations, and reports
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume work environment and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills


Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)


  • Minimum Salary: $65,000
  • Maximum Salary: $84,500


This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
