SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of leadership principles.
- Responsible for general cleanliness of work area and medicine cart, basic nursing care, administration and documentation of medications, to meet resident needs with an awareness of cost containment.
- Communicates effectively with staff members, residents, visitors, and families.
- Implements and maintains positive guest relations with all residents, staff, families, visitors, etc.
EDUCATION:
- Successful completion of orientation and training.
- Current certification as a C.N.A./C.M.A. with current registry status.
- A genuine interest in geriatric nursing care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state approved geriatric nursing assistant program.
- Current Medicine Aide certification.
