NaphCare is hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) just like you at the Wayne County Jail located in Detroit, MI. FT, PT, PRN shifts, and 8-13 week contracts are available! Pay rates range per hour based on type of license, certification, shift, site needs, licensure, and experience and can be discussed with site leadership upon interview. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.
Position Description:
- Provide routine clinical tasks
- Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
- Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes
- Perform routine blood drawing procedures
- Assist with examinations and/or treatments
- Michigan or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants.
