Job Description
Schedule:
Sundays 12pm-4pm
Pay: $25 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety and emergency procedures and guidelines;
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Help maintain studio tasks and processing of student work.
  • Assist activity specialist/instructors assist in managing classes.

Qualifications

  • Teaching experience a plus but not necessary
  • Should be a practicing ceramic artist.
  • Excellent references;
  • Experience working in a ceramic studio: stacking and firing kilns, recycling clay, making glazes and general studio maintenance.
  • Commitment to Manhattan Youth’s mission.
  • Willingness to learn, work hard and take responsibility;
  • Experience working with elementary age children


Ceramic Studio and Teaching Assistant

Some availability to have studio time for yourself. We will fire your pieces.
