Pay Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour depending on experience

The CDL A Tanker / Vacuum Truck Driver will drive and operate various oil field equipment, related fluids from well servicing, drilling or production locations within the work area to another location safely and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains all required log books, DVIR and all other DOT requirements on a daily basis.
• Recognizes and avoids safety hazards in the work environment.
• Completes all safety and equipment related training required on a monthly basis.
• Loads and unloads various fluids by using hoses connected to the truck.
• Maintain driver’s hours of service by using Telogis and/or paper log book reporting.
• Maintains truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections.
• Presents a professional manner and works closely with sales people to satisfy customer requirements.
• Completes work tickets for jobs legibly, timely and with full detailed description of daily activity.
• Performs complete pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintains regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazards.
• Monitors fluids required for the job based on customer needs and other requirements.
• Drives the truck to and from the loading station to the customer’s location(s), and disposal sites.
• Keeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills.
• Knows and adheres to DOT rules and regulations and all job-related Company, state and federal requirements.
• Keeps up with hours of service (HOS) to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
• Responsible for answering Company-issued cell phones during on call hours, in accordance with Company and safety policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• CDL-Class A with tanker endorsement
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to maintain insurability with Company insurance
• Acceptable driving record with license in good standing
• High School or GED equivalent; some college preferred.
• Knowledge of oilfield related tools and equipment
• Must be able to read and write the English language
• Ability to follow directions and be part of a team.
• Must have at least one (1) year of previous driving experience.
