Compensation

• Bonus Alert!At Bluelinx, if you are a Driver, you are eligible for our Big Blue Bonus(B3)! Eligibility for the B3 bonus is based on your date of hire, your location’s financial performance as well as your individual performance. If all criteria are achieved, employees have the ability to be paid a quarterly bonus of $500. Potentially an earned $2,000 annual bonus
• Average Weekly Pay: $1,800
• $30 an hour with an average of 50 hours per week

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Schedule: Start time 4:30am, 5am, and 6am; 10 – 12 hour shifts
• Route: Deliveries within 50 miles of Bellingham, MA
• Shift: Monday - Friday, no weekend work
• Home Every Night!
• No Touch Freight. No tarping, only responsible for securement

Equipment

• Forward and outward event triggered cameras
• Newer model Internationals and Kenworths
• Automatic and Manual Transmissions
• Utilize Samsara ELD

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean tractor and perform minor maintenance of equipment as required
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and pick-up
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Manage Proof of Delivery Paperwork from customers
• Load securement and directing the unloading by customer forklift operators
• Interact professionally with customers; process and communicate customer issues

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Minimum age 21
• 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years
• Safe Driving Record (considered on a case-by-case basis):No DUI’s in last 5 years
• Valid Class A License
• Flatbed experience is a plus

No more than 1 moving violation or preventable accident in the last 12 months

• Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Physical ability to secure loads
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 25 miles of Bellingham, MA or be willing to relocate for this position
• Must be a team player with good customer service skills
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to read customer orders and able to write and speak English
