Job Summary


Battelle’s National Security Logistics and Operations Division is seeking a Logistician for full-time work in Albany, Georgia supporting Marine Corps Logistics Command. The personnel will support life-cycle management functions for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense equipment.


The successful candidate will support shelf-life data management of CBRN defense equipment. Candidate will maintain data in the Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System, review accuracy of test reports and apply applicable shelf-life extension for various equipment. The position will include transacting in various government information systems, generating dynamic reports, and responding to internal and external requests for technical information.


Responsibilities


  • Attend weekly meeting with senior government staff
  • Creation of dynamic reports for legacy and new CBRN defense assets
  • Maintaining CBRN equipment shelf-life data in the Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System
  • Archiving of all CBRN production and sustainment test reports
  • Data entry of test report data into client enterprise management system
  • Review accuracy of test reports and apply applicable shelf-life extension for equipment


Key Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management; 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
  • May be required to secure or maintain a DoD security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledgeable/Experience with Marine Corps Supply processes and procedures
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and maintain effective working relationships with senior government staff.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Defense Information Systems
  • Knowledge/Experience with Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge/Experience with shelf-life management and testing processes
  • 10 years military supply or logistics experience
  • Knowledge/Experience of CBRN Personal Protective Equipment
