Position Summary:

Engage in the duties of a cashier.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintains coffee and displays baked goods
• Keep refrigerators and shelves stocked
• Identify prices of goods and tabulate prices using a cash register and/or calculator
• Issue receipts and/or change to customers
• Refill and clean the counter as necessary
• Set up and break down the counter area

Experience & Educational Background:

• A High School Diploma and 6 months to 1 year of related experience is required.

Skills & Competencies:

• Provides excellent customer service
• Good organization skills. Must be able to handle food according to established sanitary guidelines
• Speaks to clients and colleagues in a respectful and thoughtful manner

Salary Range:

Grade 1

1199 New Hire rate:$22.41 and 1199 One Year of Service rate $22.86
