CRG’s client within the food service industry is looking to add a new Cash Applications Specialist to their team to perform payment application to Accounts Receivable customer accounts on a HYBRID schedule. This professional will utilize their data entry and/or AR experience to apply check, wire, and ACH payments, research invoices and payments, and resolve any discrepancies. This team has opened up this brand new position to accommodate all their growth and is excited to help you launch your career in the Accounting industry!

Opportunity: Contract to Hire

Location: Charlotte, NC (near the airport) - HYBRID

• 4 days REMOTE after training, onsite Wednesdays
• 2-3 days REMOTE during training (first 2-3 weeks), onsite the other days

Pay: $20-$21/hr

Responsibilities:

• Communicate discrepancies with AR Regional Specialists to assist in timely customer account maintenance and customer service
• Read, decipher, and process payments with extensive remittance detail
• Post payments received at a high daily application rate with superior accuracy
• Utilize tools within HighRadius to help increase auto-cash hit rate such as remittance linking and payment tagging
• Perform payment exception handling
• Assist team members with new or complicated applications
• Post lockbox payments (ACH and check) based on remittance information

Qualifications:

• SAP and HighRadius, or any large ERP system experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel and Outlook proficiency
• Previous high volume and complex A/R or cash application processing OR strong data entry / data analysis experience
• Strong Data Entry (10-Key)
• Willingness to work additional hours at period-end in order to meet close deadlines
• High school diploma required, Associate’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
