Staying home is essential in our community and our seniors are the most vulnerable. They need us and we need you!

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals, to become a part of our Mobile County team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Companionship and conversation

Light housekeeping tasks, and meal preparation

Medication and Appointment reminders

Assistance with personal care

Mobility assistance

Incontinence care assistance

Some transportation needs to and from appointments, errands, etc...

Alzheimer's/ dementia care

Knowledge of how to use a Hoyer lift and or a gate belt

Requirements to be a Care Professional

The ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

The ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Have a clear criminal background check

have a driver's license and Insurance and a good driving record

positive employment reference check and stable work history

Pass a drug screen

Dependability and reliability are a must

We have a variety of shifts available. Our shifts can range from 4 hours to 12-hour shifts.
