Cardiac Rehab Nurse Jobs

Job Summary: The Cardiac Rehab nurse participates in all phases of Cardiac Rehab including, referral review, interviews, scheduling, monitoring of patients during exercise sessions and teaching sessions as well. The Cardiac Rehab nurse documents various activities in the appropriate system and participates in billing activities for the Cardiac Rehab sessions. They stay up to date regarding Cardiac Rehab practices and standards and provide patient centered care and follow up for Cardiac Rehab patients. Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree in Nursing or equivalent, NYS RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years acute care post licensure nursing experience (preferably in cardiac care) and CPR/BLS certification required by time of appointment. ACLS certification required, if not ACLS certified, will be required to obtain within 6 months of hire.
