Job Overview


Responsible for monitoring, recording and reviewing EKG hemodynamic data during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Prepares patients for various invasive procedures utilizing sterile technique. Assists physicians by scrubbing during procedures.


Qualifications


Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and two to three years of previous work related experience. Certificate as a Cardiac Tech or similar training is required. Work requires providing direct patient care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients. May explain clinical, technical and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families, comforting patients and their families, enforcing policies and regulations in difficult situations, or performing other duties requiring a comparable level of communication.
