Job Description
LUV Car Wash was founded in Sept of 2021, and we have rapidly grown to over 70 locations in 6 states, including CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. We are seeking a motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations and activities of our Car Wash & Gas Station. As the General Manager, you will ensure the safety and security of the customers, that all employees provide excellent customer service, and that all financial and operational goals are met.

General Summary Of Duties
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for all site operations including recruiting of staff, site safety, facilities management, customer service, driving sales, site compliance and the development of the car wash team.
Reports to: District Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt / Non- Exempt
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing.
  • Work outside in varying weather conditions.
Essential Functions
  • Partner with Facilities Market Leader and maintenance team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained, safely operated and maintenance requests are fulfilled in a timely manner to minimize site downtime.
  • Create weekly schedule and manage site labor to LUV Car Wash standards.
  • Partner with Market Leader on budget planning and forecasting.
  • Check LUV GM email regularly and respond to all emails in a timely, pleasant manner. Follow-up on action items as needed, quickly and accurately.
  • Know and follow alcohol and tobacco sales laws; ask for ID every time, do not sell to underage customers or those who cannot verify their age.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide ongoing development, coaching and counseling to AGMs and high-potential hourly teammates.
  • Handle all customer issues/complaints. Work with Market Leader to resolve all issues in a timely manner that results in positive outcomes and customer-retention.
  • Review DRB reporting and submit payroll information to all employees on time. Cross-reference and review payroll before submission to ensure 100% accuracy and guarantee all teammates are accurately paid for hours worked.
  • Train employees on fuel delivery safety, explain and perform pump inspections .
  • Monitor fuel usage with the Veeder-Root tank gauge, create a plan to meet compliance requirements.
  • Understand and follow fuel operations and environmental safety procedures; know when to use the emergency shut off and where it is located.
  • Ensure the site operates safely and in compliance with all regulatory, local, state and federal laws/regulations.
  • Walk site throughout shift to ensure site is operating safely, efficiently and up to the LUV standards of service. Converse with customers regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create genuine connections with customers and foster relationships through superior customer service to build membership sales.
  • Partner with Market Leader to drive local volume and sales through strategic community outreach and marketing efforts.
