Cannabis Chemist R&D/Product Development/Method Development (Part Time)

Were looking for a degreed chemist that has experience with cannabis or an interest in it. Weve been in business 4 years now mostly as a bulk ingredient supplier and have a team of skilled operators/maintenance technicians to compliment your skill set to accomplish our goals - put what you work on into normal production.
Project 1 - get our Gilson Centrifugal Particle Chromatography (CPC) unit functioning to separate impurities or separate cannabinoids that codistill (we have remote expert help but want an onsite chemist)
Project 2 - get our Wufeng HPLC operating for everyday internal analytics and help us with method development of the CPC (we have remote expert help but want an onsite chemist)
Project 3 - turn CBD to CBN safely and consistently (we have remote expert help but want an onsite chemist)
Future Projects - various reactions similar to CBD to CBN, and product developments such as mints, capsules, drinks, etc.
Requirements- chromatography background

• Chemistry degree
• Grit and confidence to let the industry experts that want to help us, actually help us by over-communicating with them
• Great communication skills with text and videos, our best help is remote and this isnt going to work unless you can properly articulate what is wrong so we can receive proper help
• Have a schedule when you can come onsite and work on our projects
• Live in OKC metro area

Benefitsflexible hours - this can be something you do outside of a normal hourly or salary position. We have 24/7 operations with our normal production, so you can come in and work during the evenings Monday to Friday or weekends.
This job can turn into a full time job if youre willing to help with production. Theres not enough long term R&D work to only work on R&D projects.
