Expected Work Schedule For The Rochester Campus Minister

• Full- or part-time, flexible schedule
• Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific ministry needs
• Annual conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat

Pay Structure For a Rochester Campus Minister

• Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners
• Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
• Pay range is typically between $24,960 and $72,800 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors

About the area and Responsibilities of a Rochester Campus Minister

We have openings available at Oakland University located in Rochester Hills, Michigan and Wayne State University located in Detroit, Michigan. Wayne State University has over 1,000 international students, many of which are from India and Saudi Arabia. Oakland University (OU) has hundreds of international students. They typically live in apartments near campus as they pursue PhD and master degrees. With students from India, Saudi Arabia, China and many other countries, the international student population is diverse, dedicated to their studies, and often enjoy connecting with local friends.

The Rochester Campus Minister Will (list Not All Inclusive)

• Recruit and disciple American and international Christians to serve on a campus ministry team
• Participate in IFI events and Bible studies, and share the Gospel with international students within the context of genuine friendship
• Participate in discipleship with supervisor by meeting regularly to seek guidance and direction in ministry, and set goals and accountability
• Study the cultural worldviews of the international students to whom you are ministering

Qualifications needed of a Rochester Campus Minister, including Spiritual Characteristics

• Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
• Flexible and adaptable
• Well organized, takes initiative, able to work independently or collaboratively
• Faithful in evangelism and hospitality to international students as well as discipling believers to do the same
• Proficient with technology necessary to the ministry, including Microsoft Office and Google applications

Education/Experience Preferred For a Rochester Campus Minister

• Minimum of one-year involvement in campus ministry or completion of IFI ISEED Program
• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree
