Job Description

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Oversees student behavior in the cafeteria and surrounding associated areas. The Cafe Aide will help monitor students in the cafeteria while they eat. They will get students lined up to go to recess and they will also work Kindergarten and 1st grade's second recess.
Minimum Qualifications
Education - High school graduate or equivalent, with some course work in secretarial science preferred.
Knowledge/Skills - Knowledge of District requirements and Board of Education Policies/Regulations. Able to communicate positively with students, staff, and public; handles responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner. Able to evaluate a situation and act appropriately. Performs duties with an awareness of District requirements and Board of Education Policies.
Experience - At least 18 years of age. Experience working with children preferred.
