Cad Technician Jobs

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The CAD Technician will work with computer-aided drafting software and technology to develop design plans for wood construction and manufacturing components. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics that adhere to industry standards and regulations. The CAD Technician will collaborate with architects, engineers, and product designers to ensure that designs are accurate and meet project requirements.Must be local to the Markle, Indiana area - this job is on location only, no remote.Full-time or Part-time is available.
Compensation
$20 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:Use computer-aided drafting software to create and edit detailed and schematics and plans for wood construction and manufacturing components.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product designers to ensure that designs are accurate and meet project requirements.Adhere to industry standards and regulations when creating designs.Maintain design files and documents, ensuring they are up to date and accessible to other team members.Attend project meetings and provide updates on design progress.Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.Qualifications:Strong proficiency in computer-aided drafting software and technology.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to wood construction and manufacturing.Understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive designs.Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a team.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.About Company
