Cad Qa Software Engineer

• Works with limited supervision, and takes ownership of testing projects to achieve schedule, financial, and technical goals as assigned.
• Conducts end-to-end testing for development process as needed. Each test case should include the purpose of the test, any pre-requisites that need to be done before testing, and the acceptance criteria for the test.
• Assists and mentors team members in the testing area.
• Collaborates and leads software tests activities with software development team, engineering team and stakeholders on various testing project requirements.
• Writes and executes manual and automated test cases and procedures for software testing and verification.
• Responsible for software verification of complex software applications embedded in the factory robotics and other hardware in all phases of software development life cycle including planning, input, design, and testing.
• Identifies manual validation that can be automated, and works on automation using various software scripting languages.
• Responsible for the complete automation life cycle of all the software and hardware components currently utilized within the organization.
• Responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of the automated test suite, framework, tools and unit tests.
• Develops, maintains and conducts internal testing procedures and reports. Documents and communicates test results.
• Leads software testing team for various automation projects and manual testing.
• Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
• Contributes to the ongoing implementation of the Software Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with US FDA Quality System regulations and ISO 13485 design controls by integrating internal and external/best medical device industry practices.Leads the effort to design and set up a permanent factory testing lab which will be used for the verification of all the components of the factory before any software release.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in software, hardware, testing and/or automation.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in testing and automation field.
• Minimum one (1) of experience using Python & Selenium Automation tools (or similar tools).
