As a CAD Technician, you will be a member of the engineering team providing the technical expertise in support of product development and manufacturing. Products lines include fabrications, detail assemblies, sheet metal stampings, and plastic injection moldings.

Responsibilities
Lead the document control process and ensure information integrity in accordance with established ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS)
Create and control CAD files, supporting documentation, and prints
Collaborate and communicate with the product development team and production team throughout the product’s life-cycle
Uphold professional and technical communication standards throughout the organization
Required Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Inventor 3-D Modeling, assembly construction, print layout
Importing and exporting files for use of other programs
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD
Advanced knowledge of drafting theory and standards
Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 QMS
Familiar with CNC machining, plastic injection molding, sheet metal stamping, and Flexible Job Shop fabrication/manufacturing
Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or Information Technology
1-2 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing
Required Attributes

Strong project management skills
Highly developed technical competencies
Highly adaptive to new concepts and techniques
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or Information Technology
1-2 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing

Certificate or Associate’s degree of applied Science or Technology
1-2 years of experience drafting full-time using Autodesk Inventor
