Cad Drafter Jobs

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting field surveys, mapping, producing designs, utilizing CAD software. They should have experience with MicroStation and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. By utilizing strong organizational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret field sketches along with associated building information modeling features.
• Support overhead and underground distribution facilities projects.
• Verify as-built information by performing field investigations.
• Prepare engineering drawings to support conceptual designs developed by engineers to meet Electric Construction Standards.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills (preferred).
• 2 year Technical Degree, Associate degree, or High School diploma with certificate in CAD Technology (required).
• 2+ years of MicroStation/AutoCAD (required).
• 2+ years of supporting conceptual designs, mapping, and field sketches (required).
