Job Details

We are looking for a skilled Permanent Buyer to join our engineering industry team. As a Permanent Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services for our company. You will work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that all products and materials are delivered on time and meet the company’s quality standards. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work with the accounting team to ensure that all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure that all materials and products are delivered on time and meet the company’s quality standards.
• Analyze market trends and pricing data to ensure that the company is staying competitive in the industry.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and ensure that all orders are processed and delivered on time.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing and terms for materials, products, and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure that the company is receiving the best possible pricing and terms for materials, products, and services.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure that the company has the necessary materials and products on hand to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Buyer/Procurement role, preferably in the engineering industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with purchasing software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working with vendors and negotiating pricing and terms.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
