Job Details


Preparation and follow-up of purchase orders, including sourcing suppliers, noting costs and specifications, and resolving discrepancies.


Expediting purchase orders by coordinating with vendors, revising ship dates, and communicating with Production Control.


Establishing and maintaining a computerized operating system for tracking and updating purchase order data.


Miscellaneous tasks such as collaborating with Accounting Department, reconciling invoice discrepancies, tracking open purchase orders, and qualifying new suppliers.


Key performance metrics include purchase price variance, stock outages, vendor on-time delivery and quality, and cost savings and avoidance.
