  • Currently looking for an all-star prep cook to join our team. An organized, energetic multitasker who is comfortable in a prep kitchen and loves being part of a hardworking team will be most successful in this position. Full time or part time options available, with morning availability needed for weekend and weekday shifts. Full time team members are eligible for health benefits - medical, dental and vision. We define full time as 30+ hours per week A few weeks of lower hours will not impact your eligibility! We offer a fun and flexible work environment. Need specific days off? Position Summary: Perform food prep for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen Food prepared in accordance with recipes & concept specifications - accurately and efficiently Previous Experience Preferred Our restaurant group has received seven James Beard nominations & in 2022, our Chai Pani in Asheville WON the James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. We've also got a Zagat award, recipes published in Bon Appetit, Saveur, Food & Wine, write-ups in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Local Palate, The Huffington Post, Southern Living, USA Today, and on and on.
