Busser - Food & Beverage - Summer 2023

A Food & Beverage Busser at Sun Valley Resort will work in one of our Food & Beverage venues. They will clear, clean and reset tables in preparation for serving guests.

Food & Beverage Busser Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure tables are clean and set – ready for guests.
• Make sure all glassware and silverware are clean and polished.
• Reset tables with napkins, silverware, water glasses, and dishes as directed.
• Place all items into the busing cart, on busing trays, or into tubs.
• Stock various clean dishes, glassware, and condiments at the server’s station.
• Fill water glasses immediately after guests are seated.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Empty busing carts, trays, or tubs in the kitchen areas.
• Empty kitchen garbage receptacles and take bags to the dumpster.
• Fill guests’ water glasses when requested by wait staff.
• Ensure that there is a sufficient amount of freshly brewed coffee.
• Clear all dishes, glassware, paper goods, and table linens at proper times as guests complete their meals or depart their tables.

Food & Beverage Busser Qualifications:

• Must safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplace.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
