POSITION PURPOSE
The Business Analyst is responsible providing analysis and understanding the business needs of a division in our organization. Responsible to applying knowledge of the business area to align their process and practices. Work with business unit to participate in requirements gathering to ensure they can resolve their technical issues. This position is responsible analyzing and evaluating user needs to create system solutions to support the overall business strategy. Responsible for participating and assisting with departmental projects.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related field required
  • Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience in business analyst and/or business system analyst required
Skills And Abilities
  • Must proficient knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
  • Must demonstrate PC skills including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and related software as other corporate software programs and applications.
  • Must demonstrate verbal and communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate information with tact, diplomacy, patience and professionalism.
  • Able to cohesively work in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective completion of all tasks assigned groups.

  • Analyze requirements and create or contribute to functional designs, leveraging proficient technical skills.
  • May assist with project initiation or planning for projects of low/moderate complexity.
  • Simulates and tests process improvements. Communicates changes and may provide training to impacted business units
  • Provide expertise in a focused area of the organization through analysis and understanding of business needs. Apply proficient knowledge of the business area’s processes and practices.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create system solutions and support overall business strategies
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements that address relatively moderate business processes or projects of low/moderate complexity.
  • Provide business knowledge and support for resolving technical issues in their focused areas of the business.
