Job Description

Responsibilities


I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This is a temporary position.
  • The Intern, under the supervision of the Manager, performs analyst support activities related to the assigned area. By completion of the program, the Intern will experience real business and/or clinical challenges and learn transferable business analysis skills while contributing to active department projects and priority initiatives.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Operates computer, calculator, telephone, fax and printer.
  • Essential: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
  • Continuous: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
  • Frequent: walking.
  • Occasional: standing, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 20 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a junior or senior standing or in a graduate
program.
  • Preferred coursework including business administration, accounting, finance, economics, statistics, human resources or information technology.

B. EXPERIENCE:
  • Demonstrated skill in use of computers, including MS Windows operating system, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other PC-based applications may be required for area of assignment.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
