Role Overview:
This Business Analyst 2 will support our Clinical Trial Payments solution. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to partner with internal and external stakeholders (pharmaceutical companies sponsoring clinical trials), ensuring they receive accurate data on the payments affiliated with clinical research, via PowerBI reports. This breaks down to receiving ad hoc requests, gathering requirements, and ensuring best practices are being utilized regarding data flow.

IQVIA Technologies' Clinical Trial Payments is a tech-enabled service offering that takes away the burden of making payments to clinical sites around the world. By relieving clinicians of some administrative burdens, Clinical Trial Payments allows HCP’s to focus more on their work in clinical research and healthcare, creating a better patient experience. This is done by applying our skilled financial and technology integration teams, best practices, and global reach to solve a persistent industry problem that software alone cannot handle.
Essential Functions

• Partner with various technical teams to develop, support, and enhance create world class data management processes
• Communicate and Log bugs/support tickets to development teams
• Manage project schedules, tracking and assigning deliverables
• Competent to consider most business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
• Analyze business and user needs, resulting in the documentation of requirements, and translate those into proper system requirement specifications.
• Understand internal processes and document appropriate Standard Operation Procedures and training materials as needed.
• Assist in formulating and defining systems scope through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
• Review data flows and troubleshoot discrepancies, ensuring data aligns appropriately utilizing SQL
• Create dashboards utilizing PowerBI after receiving ad hoc requests from internal and external clients

Qualifications

• Previous experience utilizing the following technology:
• Power BI and DAX analysis experience a plus
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Smartsheet, Tableau, SQL, Jira
• Two (2) years of experience in of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of IQVIA data and current systems is a plus
