Job Purpose and Impact


The Build Project Senior Supervisor will lead project management activities for low to medium complexity build projects in food and bio industrial manufacturing facilities for the Cargill Food and Bio enterprise. As a member of the North America Capital Capability center, you will provide leadership, planning, execution, project control, and business results through the delivery of build projects in Cargill locations within the United States.


Key Accountabilities


  • Apply the right tools and techniques to proactively control project outcomes to deliver a successful project.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Provide strategic vision to the project team utilizing extensive knowledge of build project management practices and ensures best practices are incorporated into project delivery to champion safety, meet regulatory requirements and deliver build projects with excellence.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Select, supervise, and manage third-party contractors
  • Execute low to medium complexity projects utilizing the project management framework to achieve project objectives.
  • Implement project management best practices based on extensive knowledge.
  • Measure and monitor project progress and key metrics to mitigate risk and increase project performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure the business value and technical benefits are enabled.


This Position will work from a remote home-office location anywhere in the United States


Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time or more depending on project location


Preferred Qualifications


  • Food processing or dry material/ bulk handling systems experience
  • Experience managing projects with budgets at or above $10 Million
  • Sanitary design experience
  • Ability to influence others in a matrixed organization


Compensation Data


The expected salary for this position is $115-$135,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
