Overview

Budtenders deliver excellent customer service and customer experience within the dispensary by educating clients, accurately tendering transactions, and maintaining compliance with all state and local regulations. Our budtenders are knowledgeable in all things cannabis and take great care and pride in helping patrons select the best products for their desired goal, ensuring each customer receives attentive care. Our budtenders are confident and comfortable in educating patrons on products and recommended dosing. In addition, applicants must be reliable and demonstrate the ability to perform efficient work methods, execute intake and verification processes, operate a POS system, proper cash handling procedures, and maintain the highest level of ethics and integrity.

About the Role

  • Administer the best level of care and service to our patrons

  • Manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Monitor inventory levels, assess product needs and communicate them to the proper people
  • POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, cashing out orders and reprinting receipts
  • Pass on information to upper management from patrons and vice versa
  • Stay current on laws and city ordinances, as well as adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and employees
  • Work with others to maintain a collaborative and positive work environment

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer service focused role.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Cannabis related field.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching.
  • Requires lifting up to 25 lbs.
