Brewery Operations Manager Finestkind Brewing, LLC/Smuttynose SUMMARY The primary role for the Operations Manager is to meet the Smuttynose Brand Portfolio's gross profitability goals. This is to be accomplished by reducing cost per barrel, ensuring security of supply (dual sources and contracts), and meeting distribution demand. Specific tasks and activities required will include, but are not limited to, the following: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop annual operation plans for the Smuttynose Portfolio that integrate into the Brewery's overall strategies and plans. Direct responsibility for improving profitability. Develop and lead operations and logistics personnel to ensure they hit their goals. Direct responsibility for OBeer master data accuracy and implementation of MRP capabilities. Manage finished goods and raw material inventory levels that optimize working capital and customer fulfillment goals. Support innovation team to ensure rapid development of new profitable offerings. Developing and maintaining operations tools and systems. Ensuring operations team compliance with their use - specifically OBeer ERP system modules. Other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS Bachelors degree 3+ years of Brewery Operations experience Knowledge of beer industry operations Understanding of beer brewing process, packaging process and quality control Ability to manage hop and commodity contracts Personnel leadership and development techniques Development of operation plans and budgets Understanding of warehouse operations with ability to give direction OBeer ERP system configuration maintenance, operation and report building Excellent verbal and written communication skills Office 365 applications, VIP and other software Well organized with high level of attention to detail Creative thinker but grounded with business objective awareness Execute with a sense of urgency Finestkind Brewing Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: Finestkind is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
