POSITION SUMMARY

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for delivering superior customer service to our guests as they enter, make selections, purchase, and dine in Table 43.1. Attendants are there to ensure that dining areas remain inviting, clean, stocked, and visually pleasing to guests. Attendants also handle all Food and Beverage purchases and transactions throughout service hours.

The required hours/target shift for this position would be, 6am-12am, Monday through Sunday availability. This position has an immediate start date and pays $20.00/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Greeting guests and verifying their room number/name on reservation
  • Setting & refreshing the breakfast buffet (hot and cold food line)
  • Cashier duties (use of POS system, cash, charge, and credit card transactions)
  • Dishwashing
  • Safely handling and disposing of food in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Clearing tables of food, plates, silverware, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Wiping tables and surfaces
  • Stocking supplies (beverages, napkins, condiments, trays, etc.)
  • Clearing debris from floors and eating areas

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Ability to ski or snowboard for Mid-Mountain location
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule that may include early mornings (frequent), weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and walk with at least 30 pounds
  • Self-motivated

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • This position may be required to early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Food Service Environment:
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently required to climb or balance and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length at a time over an average shift of 5 hours.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to: non-slip footwear and gloves.
